This is Pat's first entry into Card of the Month and shows how Peel Offs can be used to enhance a simple but eye-catching design. Lilac Fan Jump Card from the Large Fan Shaped Jump Cards Pastel Set Self adhesive Sticker from the Dufex Fairies 2 Sheet Silver Mirror Card cut to 66mm x 66mm and the corners rounded Double-sided Tape 3D Foam Tape Mixed Decorative Corners Peel Off Sheet Fine Border Peel Offs from Fancy Corners Peel Off Sheet Happy Birthday Silver Glitter Peel Offs Glue Pen Lilac Glitter Powder Corner Rounder Punch The tiny little round silver dots (what patience it must have taken to put all those so precisely around the fan edge!) are actually peel offs.  Hearts, spots and stars are found on many peel offs as extras so it just  goes to show that you should never throw your peel offs away no matter how small the bits left on the sheet  are.

Circular pot or jar with 40mm diameter base. Craft Knife Cutting Mat Metal Ruler To make the heart  Eleanor took a jar with a 40mm diameter and cut 2 semicircles to make the top of the heart, then using the ruler she followed the line to the point of the heart on both sides.

Bookatrix Butterflies  Made by Ann This is the second of Ann's Bookatrix cards, and although it's not possible to see all the pages from the photo, there are 4 separate book layers to this card - the base plus 3 pages.

The base layer is thin foiled card, the second layer is butterfly vellum which has a butterfly peel off on each side of the page, the third layer is made from the Silver Butterflies silk screen paper on which she has layered the butterflies 3D decoupage style by cutting out extra butterflies from a spare piece of the paper, and the top layer is the butterflies vellum where again she has cut out butterflies from a spare piece of vellum and layered them to create a 3D decoupage effect. The oriental theme continues to be very popular with card makers.  The lilac snow paper used in this card just adds that touch of colour to the monochrome white, black, and silver. Ornate Gate Card  Made by Pam
Pam made this card using the Ultimate board.  The base card is a brown tent card and the gates actually open to reveal a garden behind which Pam created using a selection of different stamps.  If you'd like to copy this card but haven’t got Pam’s vast rubber stamp collection then you could print a digital photo of a garden.  I’ve inkjet printed using an Epson onto 190 gsm water colour paper and it gives a nice effect.
