Birthday Card Making Idea - La Perfumerie Card 1 - Made by Madeleine

An A5 card made using materials from the La Perfumerie Card Kit.  To make the most of the attractive backing card included in the kit, Madeleine used good quality A4 basic white cardstock for the A5 card and then cut the A4 pink backing card to 2 x A5 pieces and used one of these glued to the front of the card.  The topper is mounted onto the wine coloured card included in the kit and then attached to the card with 3D foam tape.  The greeting is also included in the kit and attached to the card with 2mm thick 3D foam tape.

Paying attention to the insert will delight the recipient when she opens the card. Stardream Ruby 120 gsm paper, which is a close match to the backing card included in the kit that is used for the mount, is used for the insert.  The Stardream paper is cut to insert size using one of the decorative edge blades that fit the Carl Cutter, and the Carl PRT-100 and DC-212 rotary trimmers.  The blade used for this insert is the Colonial.

There's absolutely loads in this kit so why not use one of the smaller toppers for the insert?  Here one of the smaller toppers is mounted on to a smooth bright white punched scalloped circle using photo glue and attached to the insert using 1mm thick 3D foam tape.  The greeting is from the Birthday Foiled Sentiments sheet in gold cut out using the Colonial blade to match the edging on the insert.
