Card Making Project - Spa Retreat Birthday Card
Made by Madeleine
Creasing an A4 card to A5 and then using it as a tent fold card often results in the card sliding down and not being shown off to best effect. It's far better to use an A5 landscape card. This card uses an embossing machine but if you don't have one just use the pretty iridescent vellum as it comes.

To make this card you will need:

Build up the decoupage picture using 3D foam pads or silicon glue. If using silicon glue leave overnight to dry.
Cut the A3 Stardream Opal card to measure 138mm x 420mm and then crease it to give a card measuring 138mm x 210mm.
Using a corner rounder round the top right and bottom right corners of the creased card.
Cut the iridescent vellum to measure 138mm x 105mm. Using the Tiny Bubbles embossing folder, run the vellum through the embossing machine. If you haven't got an embossing machine then leave this bit out
and just use the vellum without embossing.
Cut approx. 10mm from the edge of the iridescent vellum using the wave blade or scissors. Glue the vellum to the left hand edge of your card using 3mm double sided tape.
Attach the Spa Retreat decoupage to the card using 1mm foam tape.
Place the lavender pearls randomly across the right hand side of the Stardream Opal card.
Using 2mm 3D foam tape attach the Relax on your birthday sentiment at the bottom right hand corner of the decoupage overlapping it slightly.
