This card just lets the lovely foil card take centre stage with very little embellishment - just some peel offs and a chocolate box style bow.
To make this card you will need:
|
|
Cut a piece of the blue flower branch foiled card to measure 148mm x 148mm and cover the front of the Stardream Aquamarine card using photo glue.
Cut a piece of silver foil card to measure 100mm square and, using photo glue, stick this to the centre of your card.
Cut a piece of the flower branch foiled card to measure 90mm square and, using photo glue, stick this to the silver foil card leaving an even border around each side.
Cut another piece of silver foil card measuring 50mm square and stick this to the very centre of the card using 3D foam pads to add a bit of depth.
Colour in the Just for You sentiment and a couple of hearts from the same peel off sheet with the blue permanent marker pen. Stick the sentiment diagonally across the centre silver foil panel and place the hearts on opposite corners to each other, below and above the sentiment.
Cut a length of the silver lame ribbon and attach to left hand side of card, securing ends on inside of card with a little double sided tape (this will be hidden once the insert is put in place inside the card).
Cut 3 piece of the silver lame ribbon measuring 140mm, 110mm, and 80mm. Next make a “chocolate box” bow, by taking the shortest length of ribbon and looping it at each end, making the next set of loops using the 110mm ribbon, and then another one using the 140mm ribbon, Secure the smaller loop to the medium one, and then both of them to the largest one with some silicone gel. Cut a small piece of ribbon large enough to loop around the 3 bows and secure the whole thing together around the middle with silicone gel.
Once the bow has dried, apply some more silicone gel to the back of the bow and adhere it to the ribbon down the left hand side of your card.
