Card Making Project - Lagoon and Gold Dust Heart Wedding Invitation
Made by Linda

This simple heart card uses the Cuttlebug machine and the 2 Step Heart die.  The Stardream Lagoon mount was taken from the Over 80 Mounts pack.  If you are making wedding stationery and would like your mounts all cut from the same card then just ask.

To make this card you will need:

A4 Gold Dust Card cut to A5 and creased to A6.
Stardream Lagoon Mount 90mm x 58mm or A4 Stardream Card cut to 90mm x 58mm
Wedding Invitation Foiled Sheet in Gold on Gold Dust Card - Font Dauphin
3D Foam Pads 3mm Thick

Cut and crease the Gold Dust card and round the outer edge corners using the corner rounder.

Put the Stardream Lagoon mount through the Cuttlebug using the D'vine Swirls embossing folder and then round each of the corners with the corner rounder.  Glue the mount to the centre of the card using photo glue or double-sided tape (depending on your level of confidence).

Cut out the solid heart in Gold Dust card and the filigree heart in Stardream Lagoon using the Cuttlebug and the 2 step heart die.  Glue the filigree heart to the solid heart using white craft glue.
Tip: the best way to do this is to put some of the glue from the tube into an egg cup and use a paintbrush to apply the glue.

Attach the heart at an angle to the centre of the mount using 3D foam pads.

Cut out the foiled wedding invitation using deckle edge scissors and attach to the card using 3D foam pads.
