Pencil and Ruler

Make up the cupcake decoupage and attach the Something Special sentiment using 3D foam pads or silicon glue. A If using silicon glue leave overnight to dry.
The next step is to score the card to make the diamond top shaped card. Use the diagram opposite as a guide to where the score lines are made following he measurements given in the instructions that follow.
1. Score the A4 card lengthways down the middle. If using the EaziScore this is the A5 half fold scoring line.
2. Turn the A4 card from portrait to landscape and score 10.5cm from the edge of the card. If using the EaziScore this is the A5 half fold scoring line.
3. Measure 2.5cm from the score line (13 cm from the edge of the card) along the portrait centre fold and mark with a pencil.
4. With the card still landscape, measure 17.6 cm along the bottom edge and mark with a pencil. Repeat this along the top edge of the card.
5. Using a scoring tool and a ruler (if you have the EaziScore then you can use the EaziScore scoring tool to do this) score from the 17.6cm points you marked at the edge of your A4 card to the 13cm point you marked on your centre fold.

Fold the card along your scoring lines. Fold the card inwards along the centre vertical crease, inwards along the top horizontal crease, and outwards along the 2 diagonal creases. The diamond card section at the top should then pop into shape.
Cut a piece of pink foil to measure 10 x 10 cm and, using double sided tape, stick this onto your diamond shaped top. Cut the sheet of paper from the Celebrations paper pack to measure 9.5 x 9.5cm and glue it to the centre of the foil card so that a small border of the foil card shows on all sides.
Cut a piece of paper with the striped design from the Celebrations paper pack to 16.4cm x 10.4cm. Measure and mark on the right hand edge of the paper 12cm from the bottom. Using scissors, or a craft knife and cutting mat, cut a diagonal from the point marked on the right hand edge of the paper to the top of the left hand edge of the paper. Glue this to the main front of the card.
Cut out one of the sentiments from the decoupage sheet. Measure the sentiment and cut a piece of pink foil card 1cm larger than the sentiment both in width and length. Glue the sentiment to the pink foil card then attach it to the card using 3D foam pads or silicon glue.
Take your decoupage and using a quickie glue pen and red glitter, glitter the hearts and cherries on the cupcake. Shake off the excess glitter and mount the cupcake decoupage to the top piece of your card.
And after all that work send the card to your very best friend!
