There’s a vast array of colours now for glitter card and paper and these really add glitz to any card making project.

The problem comes when you want to stick your topper, embellishment or decoupage to the glitter card as with ordinary glue, double-sided tape, or foam pads things tend to fall off glitter card after a short while.

The best glue to use to stick things to glitter card and paper is silicon glue.

If silicon is not suitable for your project, for example when you are gluing a card or paper mount and you want it to lie flat, then try removing some of the glitter where you want to stick your card or paper. Be gentle – don’t rub so hard you tear the glitter paper – and make sure you only rub the glitter off from where you are placing something else so thet the area that you’ve rubbed won’t be seen.
