CD ROMs and Rubber Stamps

March 5th, 2010

Save money when making cards for charity by using CD Roms with lots of images and matching backing papers as this works out cheaper than buying backing papers and topper for each card you make and keeps costs low.

Similarly, using rubber stamps to make the cards you sell. As long as rubber stamps are cleaned immediately after use and stored properly they will last you a long time and you will get hundreds of images from the rubber stamp.

Linda takes out the cost of the paper card and envelopes, etc. she has used in making the card to buy more stock to make more cards for charity and then donates her profits. So if she has used a CD or stamp she already owns then there is no cost involved in using these – the only cost is the card and paper so the more money she has in profit to donate.

If using rubber stamps, bear in mind that many of these are copyright so check out the angel policy with the rubber stamp manufacturer before using. Or even better, check out the angel policy before you buy the rubber stamp.
