Card making is addictive and sooner or later you have made more cards then you have relatives or friends to send them to. What do you do with them all?
This is the point where card makers start to think about selling their cards. Some sell them for Charity and raise quite a bit of money. Others sell them on a small scale to friends and relatives and cover the costs of their hobby. And some take the plunge and make a business out of it.
But there’s so much to think about. Where do you sell them? How much should you ask per card? Should you concentrate on one type of card or just have a general range? And if you decide to start up your own business what does it actually involve?
Your more likely to sell your cards if you do something a little bit different. We have 2 customers who regularly sell their cards for at least £6 each and they get lots of customers because their cards are unique – not just a variation on a theme – so no-one can buy anything like them elsewhere.
