Well, it’s great to be fully staffed again – plus we’ve had an extra little helper this week in the shape of grandson James. Well, when I say little he’s actually bigger than me but there again, apart from Linda, who isn’t?
We’ve prepared what seems piles and piles of free samples to go into your card making orders – just hope the pile lasts until I get back from our much needed weekend break. As usual, Owen’s in charge.

We are now stocking the Kars Plate C for the Cuttlebug. This is the thin die adapter you need when using dies such as Nellie, Marianne D, or Nestabilities dies. A plate C is included when you buy the Cuttlebug but does have to be replaced from time to time. The Kars plate C does exactly the same job as the Provocraft plate C but at a fraction of the price – just £7.99

Lace is becoming the new way to add interest to your card making and we have just added some lovely new lace to our card making goodies for you to try. There’s wide lace with a coloured edging that you can thread ribbon through which is ideal for baby cards.

And narrower lace for adding that vintage look to cards that’s so in vogue at the moment.

Frilled real lace can also make a pretty decorative border that just finishes off a card perfectly.

These stencils from Viva Decor’s My Paper World collection are great for both card making and scrapbooking. They can be used with a variety of mediums including My Paper World paper soft colour, My Paper World paper pens, cosmic shimmer paints, and brush pens. We’re sure the enterprising card maker will no doubt think of a few more to obtain different effects from these stencils. When using with the My Paper World paper pens simply use a spatula or piece of spare card to spread the pearl of paint across the stencil.
The stencils are re-usable and come in a variety of designs including large corners, borders, motifs, flowers, and butterflies. Just let your imagination flow.

When we got out first supply of these clear stamps they sold out within less than a week. We have restocked and they are still going like hot cakes.
The size of the stamp set is just a little bit smaller than A5 so the stamps are all a good size making them suitable for both card making and scrapbooking and are tremendous value for money. Each set is just £4.45. Here are just 2 of them.
