Hi, my name is Jill aka crafty. I’ve been interested in crafts for as long as I can remember. My first memories of them is watching my Nana hand knitting jumpers, cardigans and outfits for all our family and without patterns too! Sadly I never really took to hand knitting or sewing, but did enjoy crochet and embroidery. After I marriedI bought a knitting machine. This I took to like a duck to water and was soon designing and selling my items at craft fairs etc. All hand done, no PC’s at that time!
I moved on from there to cross-stitch and “Craft-e-Design” was born. I used to design and make up my own kits and charts for sale and was at this point also a member of “Aurora”, a North East group specially for crafts people. My one draw back is I cannot freehand draw well, so when I got my first PC it became my saviour.
I’ve moved on again since then to card making and supplies. My personal passions in card making are, hand embossing and colouring and making my own toppers and embellishments.
